Tyranny Vs Freedom

“Imagine if you are as free now as you will ever be for the rest of your life”

Most people are not even considering this and refuse to countenance that it could actually happen. Governments have a pretty good track record in making a bad situation worse, the financial crisis of 2008 being a recent example. There are those amongst us who would like to control our every move and this pandemic has presented them with a golden opportunity.

In the 1950’s under the threat of an atomic bomb children were taught Duck and Cover Techniques to protect themselves. This typically meant hiding under their desks as if that would protect them from an atomic bomb landing nearby. Nevertheless teachers and pupils alike did it religiously. This was a fear based response which made people feel they were doing something to protect themselves when clearly they weren’t.

The measures being adopted by society today in terms of the lockdown are similar in nature. The mask has become the ultimate symbol of everything that emphasises the seriousness of the situation. It’s the most visible and tangible of all the measures being adopted. It satisfies the politicians in that they can refer to something tangible that they are doing and it satisfies the public who see it as a demonstration of their own resolve. On the surface there is a logic to it but once you examine the data their ineffectiveness becomes obvious. Most people don’t understandably take the time and energy to do that. They just want a solution and therefore go with it.

It’s only last march that Dr. Fauci on CBS clearly stated that masks were ineffective and unnecessary. The WHO and the centre for disease control also spoke of the ineffectiveness of masks until they got political pressure in June and changed their stance. Politicians and the media were promoting the mask, the public had started hiding under their desks and It’s symbolism had become important.

It was completely bizarre this weekend to see rugby players in an empty stadium take the pitch, wrestle with each other in scrums and rucks for sixty minutes, then take their place in the stand, put on a mask and sit six feet apart from the guys they had been wrestling with on the ground just a few minutes ago. If this doesn’t emphasise the purely symbolic nature of masks I don’t know what would.

We human beings don’t have to be stupid to act stupidly. We make better decisions as individuals as opposed to collectively. At the same time we need the power of collectivism sometimes to have impact. However consigning people to groups has become a means of controlling people rather than empowering them.

This has principally been driven by political correctness which is a product of the left but which the media latched onto very quickly. It was a gift from heaven for the media. They deal in a mass market and hold the microphone 24/7 whereas politicians and others live mostly off soundbites and short interviews controlled by the media.

Accusations of racism, sexism, homophobia and the like are the stable diet used by the left and the media to insure the effectiveness of group think. They now need it to survive or else they must reinvent themselves. These are the tools of group think or more accurately group lack of thought. The African American tag is a good example. Why not refer to black people in America as Americans. The more you distinguish them the more you keep them from being like any other American. The more you treat them as special and different the more they will remain different in everyone’s eyes including their own.

So whilst the PC world was instigated by the left the media have taken the lead. They now have common purpose and between them they are shaping what we say, how we think and what’s acceptable to the world at large. The big technology companies have now joined forces with the others as this fits nicely with their agenda. Their ability to penetrate and control our world is frightening and they are proceeding unchallenged by governments or the public.

The present situation is a case in point. Any dissenting voice in terms of how we should handle the virus is immediately marginalised by the media. Politicians and others are afraid to present alternative solutions. The politicians are afraid of the public and therefore worried about polls and votes. The media are so invested in turning us against ourselves that when you combine that with politicians who are afraid of their shadow the messaging to the population as a whole is conveyed in a manner that brooks no challenges.

Epidemiologists and other medical people who don’t subscribe to the policies and strategies being adopted are given little voice and many of those that tried were taken down off YouTube shortly after being put up. The CEO of YouTube made a statement on the matter stating that because the content was contrary to the policies being adopted by our leaders it was their policy to remove such content. This didn’t even raise an eyebrow in the media or amongst the general public. I expect this in Russia or China not the so called free world.

Well maybe that world isn’t so free anymore. If this doesn’t evidence the degree to which we have lost not just our voice but our ability to think for ourselves it almost makes the point in itself. Generally we have slavishly gone along with and adhered to the policies we have been asked to implement.

Our society is being destroyed around us. People nod and pay lip service to this when questioned but then forget about it just as quickly. They’re not inclined to think too deeply about it because we have got used to group think. Rationally it makes no sense that we know we are destroying society and everything we have built over the last 200 years yet we are prepared to just continue on that path mindlessly. This is where individual responsibility has suffered at the hands of group think.

Control is or should be at the heart of this debate. Governments always tend to overcontrol. They always seem to think that they need to control the situation when what they should do is to mitigate the problem and trust people. However when you stoke this much fear in people they just want to be looked after and therefore will run down the street naked if you tell them that it will help.

Technology has enabled the ability to control people on a mass scale. There are no rules for the Silicon Five. They are above the law. For instance they contravene just about every law you can think of in terms of monopolies but governments seem powerless to do anything. They have handcuffs on too many of our politicians.

So while the politicians are playing at being scientists the Silicon Five march on to world domination. Others who subscribe to the idea of one world population like George Soros and Bill gates are very comfortable with the direction we are going in albeit for differing reasons. Much of the unrest in cities across the world, not just the US is funded and organised by Soros. It’s like they want to wipe out the past and create a totally new future where we are obedient functionaries in society.

Take banks for instance where we are no longer customers. We are users of their facilities and we better follow the rules or we could be expelled. Take any large organisation such as an insurance company or a cell phone company. Are you really a customer? The Silicon Five are just taking this to a new level. Governments appetite to control us is in the minor leagues compared to big tech.

Nevertheless they too are taking us down a path where we are destroying our past, our history and our traditions. The fabric of society is being altered by creating barriers between us such as masks and plastic sheeting. We have become suspicious of each other and questioning of each other in very psychologically damaging ways.

People are wandering around waiting for us to get back to normal. Well the longer this goes on the less likely it is we will get even close to it. Poor decision making and poor management are facilitating the erosion of our freedoms.

This serves to satisfy the agendas of those who think their masterplan will solve everything. The consequences could be catastrophic. The pandemic and our response to it is facilitating what will become the demise of the western world and the erosion of our freedoms if people don’t speak up and fight back.

What an irony it is that the only thing we really learn from history is that we never learn from history. We just keep repeating the same mistakes.

“ For evil to succeed it only requires good people to stand by and do nothing “

The elitists have lost the plot. They are out of control in terms of their ideas but unfortunately for us in control of the agenda and the accompanying narrative. Events have conspired in such a way that it has presented them with a golden opportunity to advance their agenda of population control.

Many have fought and died so that we could be free. Let us not mindlessly throw that freedom away by allowing these elitist nutjobs to destroy our world whilst they chase some baseless utopian dream.

Come out from under your desks and speak up before it’s too late.

Who's fooling who?

What’s the point in vaccinating the majority of the population if they still have little or no freedom of movement? What’s the point in having achieved herd immunity between those vaccinated and those who have already had the virus if we’re all still locked down or quarantined, made to wear masks and not allowed to go out to dinner or go to the theatre or go to a football match etc. etc. It’s crazy and nobody is being allowed to speak up. Some political leader in Europe needs to step forward and show leadership and quickly. This continuous diet of “ we might open up “ we will open up “ “ we may not be able to open up “ “ we’ll have to lock down again if you don’t behave yourselves “ has become really tiresome.   From the outset, they kept saying “ we must follow the science “. Well, they ceased following the science themselves long ago. It has become pure political wrangling and scaremongering by the various mouthpieces that have been nominated by their individual governments. ...

Trapped!

Politicians lie in the same way that birds sing. It’s an uncontrollable urge that becomes second nature to them once they have participated in the democratic process of being elected. Human beings have enormous potential as individuals and yet collectively we can be incredibly stupid and naive.   Governments have become shameless in their lies and manipulation of the masses. Dr Fauci has contradicted himself so many times at this stage that I’m sure he’ll meet himself coming around the next corner. His decision to fund the lab in Wuhan and then his attempts to deflect attention away from them have now been fully exposed, yet he is still secure in his government-appointed position. Why? I would suggest that had this happened even 25 years ago the outcry would have been such that his resignation would have been inevitable. Not so in today’s world of keeping your mouth shut and don’t step out of line or you’ll get a high tech modern version of a knock on the door. His email communicat...

The Lost Society

There’s something very sinister going on behind the scenes in the world present. I haven’t wanted to believe it but everything that’s happening currently indicates that it is so. We cannot and should not ignore it any longer. There is a famous line in a Clint Eastwood movie- “ Don’t P..s down my back and tell me it’s raining “ It’s very apt when considering what’s going on at present. Society is at serious risk of never again being able to interact as we did 8 or 9 months ago. All this for a disease that is no more threatening than the flu about which we do nothing because we realised long ago it wasn’t appropriate.   The simple social interactions such as giving somebody a hug or shaking hands could be a thing of the past. We may never again be able to enjoy different cultures or even different customs and atmospheres within our own country. It will all be controlled and sanitised to the point that it is unnatural to us making us more robotic in an unnaturally controlled environme...
